This vintage African hand-dyed Indigo fabric is handmade in Burkino Faso. Handwoven strips of 100% cotton are sewn together into a whole cloth, stitched or tied + then dip dyed by hand in indigo. Some small threads (sometimes white, light blue or maroon) may remain in the cloth. Each is uniquely yours as they are hand stitched + flawed in the most perfect ways.
To touch this fabric feel like butter + can be Used as throws on a couch, at the end of the bed, stacked up in a floor basket, or even to make cushion covers.
Characteristics: rich indigo w/ with abstract whit pattern + faded forest green stripes sporadically spread throughout. One end has longer thread + the other end is raw cut. This piece has one small hole were thread has come apart but can be easily re-sewn or simply adds to character. Sold as is.
