These vintage African hand-dyed Indigo fabrics are handmade in Mali - the artwork varies from one village to the next. Handwoven strips of 100% cotton are sewn together into a whole cloth, stitched or tied + then dip dyed by hand in indigo. Some small threads (sometimes white, light blue or maroon) may remain in the cloth. Each is uniquely yours as they are hand stitched + flawed in the most perfect ways.
These artworks can be used as throws on a couch, at the end of the bed, stacked up in a floor basket, or even to make cushion covers.
